I got up and doing my usual relaxing morning routine and Steve gets up gets dressed right away and it is only 6:45..we plan to go to Washburn to talk to zoning about the permit paperwork that Steve can’t make sense with.  When he called they told him the best time to get there is right when they open at 8… and I guess he took that seriously and was going to get there right when the door is unlocked.  I told him no one likes to be having people sitting right outside the door and lets at least let them get their coats off and their coffee poured.
We left at 7:15… Murphy came along…. It is a beautiful drive ..Hwy C has been resurfaced a few years ago.  We saw a couple deer in the ditches along the way grazing.
We had been at the courthouse registering Beth’s land but that has been a long time…we found it and it was a 10 after 8.
They didn’t tare down the old courthouse but added onto it…and zoning was in the old part…very cool…modernized but still had that “step back in time” naustaltia..
Rob Sheirmann wasn’t in today… our link to Hutchinson…his Aunt and Uncle in Hutch and go to St A’s.
Jennifer was there and she answered all of Steve’s questions.. she was very helpful and told us that Steve  did better than most people in filling out the form..
We left there…I was looking for garage sales but didn’t see any signs.

Stopped for groceries at the IGA…while I was shopping I got a text from Beth to stop at the IGA if we had time it was a nice grocery… funny…
I picked up the coffee Cameron’s woods and Water… debated on the size to get but ended up getting the whole beans in the largest package… the best value and since I am back drinking a couple cups  a day we go through it faster.
I picked up some Pistachio Gelato… looked good…I think I first heard of that out in Fountain Hills visiting Janet.
We left  there and stopped for Breakfast at the VI …we shared the Jason special… plenty just ½ …so good.
We then drove by Sisikwit falls to check it out and then over to saw hi to Susan but she wasn’t in so left her a note.
On the way through Herbster we stopped at the Willow Motel… we have wanted to check it out for people that come to visit.
The lady had some water trouble to the cabins… her son was there helping her and she had dug a big trench to get to the pipes… poor lady she just lost her husband in October…she ended up crying…I hugged her…afterwards I wondered if I should have done that but she hugged me back….they had been married 48 years…she was 68… little thing and digging that trench herself…
Steve gave his 2cents on the subject … hopefully it isn’t a busted pipe just froze up… the rooms were $50 for the smaller ones without a kitchenette…and 65 for the kitchenette…they had bathrooms with showers… microwaves…very clean …I would love to give her business.
I got an e-mail from the closer …I went to download the document on my phone and  somehow deleted the whole e-mail…I messaged Linda…she was on her way to the office and would forward her copy to me… she did and had also called Juanita and the paper work would be sent to rural development either that day or Monday for sure… so like she said 3rd time is the charm!
We came back home …I read some… tried some gelato…it had melted a lot…but was sure good..…Steve went over to visit with carl about a plumber he would recommend…we did get a list of master plumbers in the area who did the perk tests themselves…so that would come off the bill… instead of paying someone an extra $700…
He came back and said he did recommend this one guy ..but he is in trouble for drugs and underage sex with someone… hmmm…okay then.
We were sitting outside and Patty walked up with Rex….she had gotten off work early..  she gave Steve some phone#’s I guess that guy is her daughter’s husbands Uncle…
She said “ do you hear Carl tilling the garden?   You better call him and tell him to knock it off you are trying to enjoy the quiet North country…”
Carl came up on the 4 wheeler and Rex was barking at him…he is going blind…
We had a good visit…and after they left the sun was starting to set and I figured I better take my shower now because the next few days aren’t going to be that warm and needed to do it while the water was warmed…not hot but good.
I helped Steve put it up and went in and stripped…put on my poncho…what a site…skinny legs hanging out…
It felt so good… after I was finished I told Steve he needed to take one… he was tired but decided I was right… I think he was glad…I took a selffie of us both… nice and clean.
I thought I had bought seasoned chicken breasts ..which they were but the were also stuffed …so started up the oven to bake them in there… threw some potatoes to bake too.
I fixed a plate of veggies and dip for us to snack on so that took care of our veggies for supper.
Steve went exploring behind the house in the Ravine… I went looking for him and he came out with a pine bough filled with pine cones…it was beautiful…wish it would last.
We came in to eat and at dusk we heard a lonely coyote howling…
Later in bed we heard the whole pack …wolves sound a lot cooler but that is okay....like the coyotes talking too.
