Another delay
As we wait patiently for April 15th closing...I called our facilitator to see how things were going with the buyers Rural Development loan. She had just talked to her and everything was going as scheduled. Within 10 minutes Linda called back and there the closing now wouldn't be until the end of the month. She said that Juanita at Wells Fargo was hoping we would still hang in there and not cancel the deal. She has her Supervisor involved now. I told Linda that Steve wasn't home but would discuss it with him.
At first we both agreed enough was enough and would put it back on the market. Steve asked me to get the Supervisor # and e-mail. ..it didn't take long to for Linda to get back to us with the e-mail and #...
He responded quickly and did assure us that the Mortgage consultant was working diligently to get the loan escalated for approval so that it can be sent to Rural Development... that was interesting because we were told it was Rural Development that was the holdup...hmmm... he also said that if they didn't believe this was a viable loan they would not be continuing with the process. So both of us after taking a breath and thinking about it we agreed to to continue...but 3 strikes they are out...we will cancel the PA and re- list.
Len stopped by and Steve told him it was city wide pick up for electronics and appliances and if he had anything to go get it and put it out on our curb. He returned with a toaster oven and printer. Vicki was along and as they pulled up her son Jeremy came walking up ...he had car trouble and was walking home after dropping his car off... he just had surgery on his knee not long ago and it was hurting him bad...so Vicki gave him a lift home... perfect timing for the guy!
Vicki had to get some parts for a wheel of fortune game Parkview wanted to borrow tomorrow... so she was in a hurry to get to Ace to look for pegs...
It wasn't long and our neighbor Rod knocked at the door..he came in and loved our college apt living!
He brought me some Asparagus he had found in the freezer...when he heard we were moving the first thing he said was that i would miss the wild Asparagus he picks and shares! what a sweetheart...
I have the sheets on the floor because of the shampooed carpet.. Rod had a big pot of Bean soup cooking and said he would bring some over for us tomorrow...I showed him the one container we used for a bowl... I also packed our frying pan and fry pan...so it has been microwave all the way here... we plan to go to Port Wing soon and will bring back some bowls and a fry pan at least to use here...
It is so hard to understand why another delay... God is in control but is he telling us to re-list?? The message we both got was to be patient and wait another few weeks on this deal.
