Happy Birthday Aunt Dorothy in Heaven!!

It is 5:30am and 65 degrees in here...I slept good except for Murphy was too close to me in bed and was like a rock...he wouldn't move...and i was too lazy to get up and make him.

Mike the X Army Boxer from next door stopped by yesterday and told us some friends were coming out Coyote hunting today so we wouldn't be wondering what all the gun firing was about.

We have a leak in the window in the kitchen again..my box of tea got wet....we are going to Iron River today so I can pick up more...

Listening to NPR they had a couple who owns Wisconsin Gold popcorn on ..people were calling in with  their favorite recipes, one was to add Persian lime olive oil, salt and wheat germ over it...sounded strangely good!  The woman said she gets requests to bring her popcorn to all family parties!

I  climbed the ladder around 8:30 to give Beth a call to see what she was up too.. told her we were going to Ruxy's for breakfast and she wanted to join us.

We pulled in at almost the same time..the sweet young gal who is going to go to Nursing school was our waitress..Laura fixed my eggs minus the yolks so that was great!

Beth decided to go along to Iron River...she wanted to wash Rocky's Carhardt coveralls.. we stopped first at the Laundromat and then off to the Thrift store..Beth found a t shirt with that said "nice tics" with 2 tics strategically placed...funny.. I found a pair of pink denim jeans with white clouds on them..and a pretty wine colored turtle neck it is cotton and is V shaped on the sleeves and Bottom...paid all of $4.75~
a stop at the grocery store and the hardware store...I found some sticky fly catcher stuff that sticks to the windows...thought I would give them a try..
when we got back we visited awhile and then she left for home...we went to "the store" I wanted some fresh white fish fillets.  Judy was working...it was great seeing her!

After Steve's nap we took a walk over the the shed... the ground was wet and there was standing water in spots...the tarp was moved in one spot so it looked like a critter had made it's way inside but there wasn't any other evidence of a disturbance..
We walked back along the east ravine..we could hear water running.. I was wondering how much water was in the creek..so I decided to venture down there to see...I had on my rubber clogs but I wasn't slipping to much so kept going.. I got half way down and could see the water..it was so beautiful down there with the trees and water running... I think it will be my spot to go and pray..maybe put a shrine of our Blessed Mother there...I'd love to have one made of wood like my friend Cathy has.
I took a movie with my phone, then looked up and Steve was on the top..protecting me...he had "maggy" his gun along.  I climbed back up and we walked over to the West Ravine...that water runs into Lake Superior..it wasn't as loud as the other side and was way too thick with trees and brush  to climb down and look...so instead we walked to the road and down the ravine there...the water was racing through the culvert..

We came in and I turned on NPR . They were playing reruns from 1933 ..actors were reading from the newspaper from back then ..with music from that year.. prohibition had just ended..it lasted 13yrs!
Drinks were 35 cents shots 15!  It was interesting listening to.

Steve was tired and went to bed early..he asked me to put on cello and piano CD..he really likes it...I went to bed around 9...
No gunshots heard...rain must have kept the hunters away.
