June 17th..
Pat came up with us and was staying the whole weekend...Vonnie and Caela were coming up on Friday and returning on Saturday..
When we left Hutch we had a countdown in the driveway...leaving right at 9am...
We made our normal stops- Casey's in Foley and Cassidy's in Hinckley for their buffet...
There wasn't room to have Murphy's crate set up so Murphy rode next to Pat in the backseat...I offered to ride back there with him but Pat said she didn't mind at all and Steve said he needed me as his navigator....

Steve made it to Danbury before he asked me to take over driving so he could get his nap ... I drove as far as Hwy B and he took over..somehow we missed hwy Z which turns into Hwy 13 that takes us to Port Wing...but we were only a little out of the way to get back on track...
Arriving at White Birch we were greeted by a carpet of beautiful wild flowers- Daisies, yellow and purple flowers plus beautiful grasses...
Steve went over to Mike's to get some water for us... found out that his water is very hard... luckily I picked up a Gal of water at the Store...
We gave Pat a tour of the land.... 2 of the 3 lilacs I had planted are standing tall... and the pumpkin vines are growing... Rocky had been working on the shed and it was fun to see it with all the sides up!

Pat and I went to the store to get fritos for our Frito Bean delight and ran into Judy who works with Beth...they had just gotten off of work and she said Beth had headed towards her home...probably going to clean up before coming over...
Not too long after we got back Rocky pulled in..he was going to work on the shed..he told us he couldn't find enough end cuts to make the door and was disapointed the shed wasn't plum.. we told him we were happy with how it was turning out and were happy with his work...
Beth came and she knew what the name of the yellow and purple flowers were... Buttercups (isn't that sweet?) and wild Peas...
She left soon after we ate supper...Rocky passed on supper and continued working he left at dark...around 9...
We got Pat's bed ready - she brought one of Caela's sleeping bag...it was this small silky thing... was good for 20 degrees... they got it at REI... it really didn't look like it would keep you warm at all... but it did...we are going to look into getting one for Steve..
We were so happy to be back in our bed on White Birch Rd!
